LEDECO and SUIBE Joint Study Tour of Global Governance 2025

In January 2025, LEDECO Centre Swiss (LEDECO) organized an in-depth Study Tourof Global Governance jointly with the Shanghai University of Business and Economics (SUIBE) of China. 30 students from different majors and grades participated the tour. Prof. Xiankun Lu, Managing Director of LEDECO Centre Swiss provided guidance for the students through the whole tour.

2025年1月14日-22日，瑞士箂科中心与上海对外经贸大学开展2025“欧洲国际组织深度实践”研学活动，来自上外贸多个专业和年级的30位学生参加，上海对外经贸大学国际组织学院（贸易谈判学院）辅导员辛雅文老师与上海对外经贸大学国际经贸学院辅导员卢毅聪老师带队，箂科中心执行主任卢先堃教授全程指导并参与此次研学活动。

During the study tour, the delegation visited 10 international organizations and the Permanent Mission of China to the WTO, including the World Trade Organization (WTO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), WTO Advisory Centre on WTO Law (ACWL), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations International Trade Centre (ITC), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), United Nations Environment Programme Geneva Environment Network (UNEP GEN), International Labour Organization (ILO), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), etc.

期间，代表团共参访了10个国际组织和中国常驻WTO代表团，包括世贸组织（WTO）、联合国贸发会议（UNCTAD）、WTO法律咨询中心（Advisory Centre on WTO Law，ACWL）、世界卫生组织（WHO）、联合国国际贸易中心（ITC）、世界知识产权组织（WIPO）、联合国环境计划署日内瓦环境网络（UNEP GEN）、国际劳工组织（ILO）、红十字国际委员会（ICRC）、国际标准化组织（ISO）等。

Ambassador Zhang Xiangchen, Deputy Director General of the WTO; Rolf Traeger, the Chief of the LDC Section of UNCTAD; Niall Meagher, Managing Director of ACWL, Ma Lianfei, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of China to the WTO; Zhao Quan, Senior Programme Officer (Trade Policy)at the ITC etc. gave lectures to the delegation and answered students’ questions. The students listened attentively and asked questions actively, learning about the history and functions of the above international organizations, the opportunities and challenges they face and the role played by China, and also gaining a comprehensive understanding of the internship and job opportunities as well as the relevant requirements of these international organizations.

WTO副总干事张向晨大使、UNCTAD最不发达处负责人Rolf Traeger、ACWL执行董事Niall Meagher、中国常驻WTO代表团新公组组长马连斐、ITC贸易政策顾问赵全等国际组织高级别官员亲自给代表团做了讲座并回答了同学们的问题。同学们认真听讲、积极提问，深入学习了上述国际组织的历史和功能、面临的机遇和挑战以及中国所发挥的作用，也全面了解了这些国际组织的实习和求职机会以及相关要求。
