After his professional career on C-Level in different international companies and organizations, Martin KÜNZI is currently member of several boards, such as MIGROS and The Athlete’s Foot.

As its CFO and Deputy CEO, Martin KÜNZI was a key driver to verticalize and grow the business of the INTERSPORT-Group, being a leading, global player in the sports retail business. Under his term, sales increased from EUR 5.9 billion to EUR 13.7 billion (in 2022) in 42 countries.

Before, Martin KÜNZI was CFO (and temporary CEO) of the Interdiscount-Group, a leading European consumer electronics retail group.

Over 3 decades, Martin KÜNZI performed a successful career on C-Level and has gained wide experience in areas such as Leadership in global organisations, Finance and Controlling, Digital, HR, Legal, Corporate Governance (including work in several boards of directors), Retail, Franchising, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Since May 2022, Martin KÜNZI focuses on his career as board member of different organisations and companies, including MIGROS (leading Swiss retailer), The Athlete’s Foot, World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry, and others.
